Introduction: Welcome to my photography blog where I'll take you on a journey through my path to becoming a successful photographer. On January 29, 2017, my journey officially began, and this is where it all started.
Chapter 1: New Year's Resolution In January 2015, I realized that a 9 to 5 job wasn't fulfilling my aspirations. Photography had always been a dream, and I saw it as an opportunity to not only make extra money but also explore a potential career path. My early efforts included investing in a photography studio, but it proved to be a failure.
Chapter 2: A Change in Approach Undeterred by my initial setbacks, I decided to take a different approach. I embarked on a journey of research, seeking to understand how I could become a photographer. I explored options like photography schools and internships, even though I wasn't a student. This led me to craft a proposal to offer my assistance in exchange for basic training, particularly in studio settings and the art of using DSLR cameras.
Chapter 3: The Challenge of Reaching Out With a clear goal in mind, I took the initiative to contact local photographers. I was determined to make my mark in the industry. Leaving over 60 voice messages, I faced disappointment as not a single photographer responded to my calls. The setback was discouraging, but I refused to give up.
Chapter 4: A Fateful Call Amid the frustration and disappointment, I decided to make one final call. Little did I know that this call would change the course of my journey. It introduced me to my mentor, Mr. Michael Raveney, who would become an instrumental figure in my development as a photographer.
Conclusion: Stay tuned as I take you on a journey through the pivotal moments, challenges, and successes that have shaped my path to becoming a professional photographer. My mentor, Mr. Michael Raveney, played a crucial role, and together, we ventured into the world of photography.
